Apple is the flavor of Nutrigood Low Sugar Snax, small cookies that Manna Pro makes as horse treats and that are sold here in a 4 lb size.
The small cookies work as a treat or a training reward. Ingredients include linseed meal, vegetable oil, beet pulp, brewers dried yeast, lignin sulfonate and soybean hulls, and the analysis lists sugars at a maximum of 6.5 percent and starch at 2.5 percent.
HardyPaw says these treats use apple flavor rather than added sugar to appeal to horses.
