This pink, shelf stable birthday cake for dogs is a peanut butter apple cake sized for one medium-large dog that can be cut down for smaller ones.

The cake measures 3 by 2 inches and comes in a 4 by 4 by 2.5 inch box. It is made from oat flour, applesauce, molasses, honey, peanut butter, peanut oil, baking soda, vanilla extract, ginger and cinnamon, with a yogurt coating, vegetable coloring and carob. Cut it with a serrated knife; it cannot be personalized.

Bubba Rose Biscuit Co. says the edges of the cake are much darker than the inside and that this is completely normal.
