Green apple is the flavor of Stud Muffins, soft horse treats sold here in a 20 oz tub.
They are made with whole grain flour, oats, real dried apple pomace and flaxseed. The soft texture means less crumbling, so a few fit in a pocket for training. The directions call for 3 to 4 treats per 500 lb of body weight each day, and each treat can be broken in half.
HardyPaw says they are made in small batches by hand, with simple ingredients and careful preparation.
