Zoo Med Jumbo Can O' Grasshoppers is a canned grasshopper treat for large monitors, tegus, skinks, turtles and birds, and the maker does not name a bird species. Each 1.2 oz can holds about 20 wingless, extra-large grasshoppers.
The insects are cooked in the can, which the maker says softens the exoskeleton. The directions say to feed large lizards and turtles 1 grasshopper at a time, and an opened can keeps about 1 week in the refrigerator.
HardyPaw items ship from HardyPaw through Shopify Collective, not from Sniff and Shift, and we take the order and the payment. Food and treats are final sale; if an item arrives damaged or wrong, email us and we fix it with HardyPaw.
Sniff and Shift does not carry treats for birds or reptiles. Its freeze dried treats are for dogs and cats, freeze dried in small batches in Malvern, PA, and linked at the Sniff and Shift treats collection.
